                Cajun & Brownie

    Cajun was born April 9, 2002 at 7 p.m....just as it was beginning to rain.  He was the first foal born on our farm this spring and it was his due date exactly.  He stood in fifteen minutes and nursed by 8 p.m.  Brownie is a great mom.  She delivered quickly, was attentive and patient, and has been taking excellent care of Cajun.  The pictures in the barn were taken that evening and the outside pictures were taken the next day.  He is a very friendly foal and sometimes even a little pesky. :)

Cajun in July 2005.  Cajun is a very handsome pony gelding.  He is currently 13 hands and has the build and disposition for many types of athletic competition.
